Is your week just flying by? I can’t believe it’s already Wednesday. (Just two more days until the next edition of The Best of Etsy. Or the start of your weekend. Woot!)

It’s been such a busy week, I nearly forgot to share with you how amazing Monday was! I woke up to find Mireio in Etsy’s Finds. If you haven’t seen it, click click. It’s a gorgeous edition chock full of minty goodness.

I spent the day catching up on laundry, baking homemade pizza for dinner, and attempting to make Chocolate Creme Brulee (We ate it, but it seemed more like a mouse!) in between pouring candles for recent sales. Some days are productive and I actually succeed at multi-tasking.  I spent most of the day off line, but managed to catch the debut Front Page for Mireio’s new Vintage Hand-dyed slips!

It’s always wonderful to make the Front Page of Etsy. But it was especially wonderful this time because one of my vintage slips was featured. I really adore the whole process of creating these slips and it’s so gratifying that Mireio customers adore the final product! I fielded more convos about those slips. Whirlwind of activity– mostly people asking for larger sizes since all of the Large and XLarge have already sold. Yes!! I’m working on creating more. In fact, if this sunlight holds, there should be more in stock by Friday.

Also waiting in my Etsy inbox was an invitation for sponsorship! Exciting, no? So, I’d like to introduce you to the lovely Nicole Jeannette of Sounds of Laughter, Shades of Life. And I can’t get enough of this color. I know, it’s a fragrance, but the bottle is divine. Dark purple is sultry and sexy and perfect and I think a fabulous color for the holidays.

Obsession from A Peace of Cake

Need a little inspiration? Need a BIG inspiration? Yeah, I do too! And when I’m in need of something to inspire me, I head over to A Peace of Cake to find a muse. This bright and cheery store is the work of the amazing Kerri Jones (also of Ten Things, another Mireio favorite!). And I find her work the perfect antidote to the perma gray I face out here on the Oregon Coast. I have two of Kerri’s photographs and they always seem to make my world feel more colorful. And that’s why I love A Peace of Cake. (and who doesn’t love a witty store name too!)
