silk scarves

Hands On

Geo’s hands after working on a silk scarf.

Look at those hands! Pretty colorful, eh? He gets so immersed in his work! Speaking of which, Geo has created a few new silk scarves and they’re showing up in the store this week. They’re wider and longer this time around, which means more ways for you to wear them! Take a peek!

“Bleeding Heart” . . . is just one of the new silk scarves being listed in the store this week! These are so beautiful– and you have the added benefit of knowing you’re supporting an up-and-coming scientist as he heads off to college! Muah! xoxo You’re awesome!

Tutorial: Dyeing Silk Scarves with Permanent Markers

Originally, I wasn’t going to post a tutorial because the internet is full of these things. But he came up with a few tips that make a difference–ideas I haven’t seen elsewhere. So, I took a few photos of his process to share with you. (those are his hands in the photos!) Plus, I thought I’d list my resources as well. With that in mind: the tutorial is below the fold. Jump jump!
